Playing good cop (and sometimes bad cop, when needed), think of me as your very own control freak. The kind who genuinely loves a spreadsheet, thrives under pressure and always has a backup plan. But always with a big smile or a goofy joke at the ready.

Most couples use that gap for family and couple portraits (and a bit of a breather) while their guests mingle. Some plan a cocktail hour with lawn games, especially if the ceremony and reception are at the same venue.
Either way, I'll be busy behind the scenes making sure all your guests are taken care of and that everything is set for the reception.

Ooh, that’s a great question! People often think MCs just need the gift of the gab. But honestly, you want someone who's just as good with a spreadsheet as they are with a microphone. Someone who can read the room, sense when the energy needs a lift, and problem-solve quietly behind the scenes without breaking a sweat.
And while it's tempting to get your chatterbox bestie Becky to MC for the night, I promise she'd much rather be partying by your side than stressing about a run sheet.

Way more than most people realise. Just because I'm not behind the mic doesn't mean I'm kicking my feet up with a glass of bubbles. As your MC, I'm also your backstage wedding coordinator, staying a few steps ahead of you all night and making sure everyone and everything is on track — vendors, timing, key moments, the lot.
Keeping your reception running, I handle the talk so your vendors can walk.

It depends on your package, and I'll walk you through it all once you've enquired. Most couples have me stay until the speeches and toasts, cake cutting and first dances are done.
Once the dancefloor gets livelier and the key moments are wrapped up, that's usually my cue to find my pumpkin carriage.
