How Will Our Wedding Ceremony Run?

Fabulous question, team! Personalised to every couple, every ceremony is a little different, but here’s a rough idea of how the magic unfolds:

A warm welcome – Getting your guests settled, breaking the ice, and making any necessary housekeeping announcements.
Your love story throwback – Sharing your journey and all the meaningful moments that brought you to this exact day.
The legal bits – Australian law requires specific wording to make it official, including the delivery of the Monitum (the legal definition of marriage in Australia), so I’ll weave everything in so it feels like a natural part of your ceremony, not a boring announcement.
Swap vows & rings – Unless you’re exchanging personal vows before or after the ceremony privately, this is the moment everyone’s been waiting for!
The signing – Enjoy a quick breather while you, your two chosen witnesses, and I sign the official marriage certificates.
Cue the confetti – Woohoo, you’re finally presented as newlyweds, so make the most of that big first kiss and sashay down the aisle to start the party!

Always ready to give you a big hug and calm your nerves, we’ll run over everything again the morning of so you know exactly what to expect.

What About Before the Day?

The fun starts the moment you reach out, long before you even walk down the aisle.

Here’s what having me as your celebrant actually looks like:

Our first catch-up – Whether over a video call or a coffee, we’ll get to know each other and start talking through your overall vision for the ceremony. No pressure or formalities, just a good ol’ chat between friends.
Pre-wedding paperwork – I’ll run you through some legalities we have to complete before the big day, including your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM).
Ceremony questionnaire – Aside from our chats, I’ll also send through a detailed questionnaire to help us dig up all the good stuff, like how you met and any cheeky, memorable stories your guests will be dying to hear.
Final check-in – About 7-10 days before your wedding, we’ll hop on a call to run over all the finer details, confirm the logistics, and make sure everything feels exactly right.

Just know that throughout it all, you can count on me to be just an email or a phone call away. Think of me as your very own good-vibes-on-call hotline.
