A tricky conundrum to navigate...

Can you trust Uncle Dan to stick to just a few beers before taking on the official MC duties? What about best friend Becky —she's the life of the party, but her nerves tend to take over in front of a crowd.

Maybe you’re not into too many speeches or formalities but aren’t quite sure how a reception runsheet should flow.

Or perhaps you’d prefer to give your loved ones the night off so they can relax and simply enjoy the celebration.

What if you could have someone who:

  • Coordinates with your wedding vendors and the reception venue team.

  • Ensures the night flows seamlessly, from your entrance to the last dance.

  • Makes sure everyone knows what’s happening and when—without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.

  • Introduces speakers, announces key moments, manages the runsheet, and keeps the energy light and fun.

  • Helps create a warm and inviting atmosphere for all your guests.

  • Handles last-minute changes or hiccups with calm professionalism.

Note: I usually wrap up my role once the dancefloor is in full swing and going off! Rest assured, I’ll check in with all vendors and ensure everything is running smoothly before I make my exit into the dark of night.

Ceremony Rehearsal

Think you might be nervous on the day? Haven’t been to a wedding in a while? Do you have little people involved ie: kidlets in your ceremony?

Are your Bridal Party nervous... If you have said yes to any of the above, consider a ceremony rehearsal/walk through.

It will help everyone nail the entrance and exit and the photos - everyone will nail it!

    • Services of a fully qualified and enthusiastic Celebrant to help guide you through the ceremony process (max 1 hour rehearsal)

    • Areas covered include choreography, timing and positioning (positioning under/middle of the arbour) how high/low to hold the bouquets, if a party is being walked the aisle, how that process occurs, where couples place their hands, walking entrance pace, exit procession

    • Great time to practice operating the music. Has the correct version of the song been downloaded? There might be more than one volume knob on the PA system to get to grips with. It’s also a good time to practise the fade!

    Reasons not to have a Rehearsal/Walkthrough

    • If you are a cruisy kind of couple that take things in your stride

    • If you don’t care that things aren’t symmetrical in the photos or if the spacing between the bridesmaids isn’t exact, then the chances are you will get away without doing a rehearsal

    • Not having a Rehearsal can add to the excitement and suspense on the day. You might actually find it more thrilling that you haven’t stepped through it all before and are experiencing everything for the first time.
