500+ weddings down, here's what they don't tell you about hiring a celebrant: it's so much more than a cute speech and a mic check. 

I've bandaged a guest's leg mid-reception, fixed a father of the bride's shoe, wrangled restless kids, and orchestrated endless group shots. Call me scrappy Melly — whatever happens, I've got you.

But the part that fills my cup? When couples tell me they felt completely supported, not just on the day, but through the whole process. And when guests (you know, the ones who've been to a hundred weddings) pull them aside to say it's the best wedding they've ever been to.
